Co-op Study Tour
I am traveling to Bologna Italy to participate in a study tour of the Emilia Romagna region cooperatives. This region of 4.5 million people is located between Florence and Venice. Cooperatives support about 30% of the regions GDP and 15% of the regions work force is employed by a co-op. You can follow this link for more information. Besides bicycles I have another passion, cooperatives. I have an interest in cooperatives, I am a member and volunteer of a local food co-op and a director of my credit union.
I will not be taking my Strida with me this trip, I do hope my wife and I will find a bike share where we can rent bikes. And of course I am looking forward to the regions fine offering of wine and food.
